In 1998, Garth Bauknecht and his wife, Angela, bought a vacant lot in North Atlanta with the intention of building their dream home in which to raise their two children. Despite much searching, they were unable to find a builder that shared their vision of high quality craftsmanship at a fair value and Garth decided to build the house himself.

The home was completed after a year of balancing a full time corporate management position with the demands of building the house. Convinced that a market existed in Atlanta for a custom home builder committed to providing the highest level of personal interaction, Garth began building custom homes full time and thus, Garth Bauknecht Homes, Inc. was born.

Since it's creation, Garth Bauknecht Homes, Inc. has built over $20 Million worth of residential property in the greater Atlanta area. Their work has been featured in multiple magazines and on HGTV, owing to their commitment to high quality products. Garth holds a bachelors degree in Civil Engineering from Purdue and a MBA from Georgia State.
